Academic Staff - James Siemens

Dr Siemens is an honorary Research Fellow in the School of Religious and Theological Studies of Cardiff University, and a member of the Centre for Late Antique Religion and Culture. His research interests principally lie in the theology of the late antique / early medieval period. He has published various articles in academic journals, while his first monograph, entitled The Christology of Theodore of Tarsus, was released in December, 2010 as a volume of the Studia Traditionis Theologiae series, published by Brepols.

Having served in the ordained ministry of the Anglican Church for eight years, Dr Siemens was received into the Catholic Church in 2005, and is a deacon of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Exarchate in Great Britain.
