An Introduction
Driven by our philosophy as an institution, the courses we offer cover the fields of Catholic Education, Theology, and Art, Language and Culture.
What this means in terms of precise course titles will vary over time, as new courses are developed and introduced. Students can always expect opportunities, however, to take up a foundational language such as Latin or Greek, as well as classes in historical Christianity, and weekend workshops in relevant cultural topics.
Please note that the Institute's work is primarily academic. Students on all courses will be expected to to meet pre-requisites and undertake designated assignments, which will be outlined in the course description on these pages. It may be possible to audit a course, in which case a fee will still be payable, although such decisions will be at a lecturer's discretion.

News:
We are currently developing an MA programme in Catholic Foundations, with a view to having it accredited by a major UK university, that will give students the chance to specialise in the historical, foundational questions of the Church. As those plans progress, details will be posted on this website.
